Plugins for SketchUp, ZBrush and Blender

Make a CNC relief from a photo right inside your 3D program. The plugin sends the picture to cncrelief.com with your own account and brings the 3D relief back into your model, in mm. Points are used the same as in the Studio.

Get your plugin keyMy Profile → Plugins → Create plugin key.

Install the pluginDownload it below for your program and install it once.

Make the reliefPaste the key, choose a photo, press Make Relief. The relief comes into your model.
SketchUpSketchUp 2017 and newer · Windows and Mac
Download for SketchUp
  1. In SketchUp: Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension, then choose cncrelief_sketchup.rbz.
  2. Open Extensions → cncrelief.com Relief (or the cncrelief.com toolbar button).
  3. Paste your plugin key, choose the photo, set the width in mm and press Make Relief. The relief is added to your model as a group.
ZBrushZBrush 2026 and newer · ZBrush 4R8 to 2025 on Windows

  1. Unzip it and open README.txt - it shows both ways step by step.
  2. ZBrush 2026 and newer: Zscript → Python Scripting → Load → cncrelief_zbrush.py. The menu Zplugin → cncrelief appears.
  3. ZBrush 2025 and older: start cncrelief Bridge and make the relief there, then in ZBrush press Zplugin → cncrelief → Import Relief.
BlenderBlender 2.93 and newer · Windows, Mac and Linux

  1. In Blender: Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install (Blender 4.2 and newer: the small arrow at the top right → Install from Disk), then choose cncrelief_blender.zip - do not unzip it.
  2. Tick cncrelief.com Relief and paste your plugin key in its settings.
  3. In the 3D View press N and open the cncrelief tab. Choose the photo and press Make Relief.
Questions
How many Points does a relief use?The same as making it in the Studio. Your plan and Points are shown in the plugin.
Where do I find what I made?Every relief is also saved in your History on cncrelief.com, so you can open it in the 3D editor or download it again.
Is the plugin key safe?The key only lets the plugin make reliefs with your account. It cannot see or change your payments or your account details. Keep it private, and delete it any time in My Profile → Plugins.
What size does the relief come in?The width you choose in mm, with the relief height you set and a flat base under it (base 0 = only the carved surface).
